I've got pictures, I'll get 'em posted in a... oh wait, you mean pictures from BARC...kiramdear wrote:Aye, laddie, that we did. You have to come next time.
So who else has pictures? I know there were loads taken.
Hey folks, thanks for taking and posting the pics, allowing those of us who couldn't make it to attend vicariously albeit a little late. Looks like it was a fantastic time! One of these days, I'll make it one of these events...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

I think I left Paul, Dahlia, and Juliana with enough waffles for a week . . . or longer. Paul, I let Dahlia know, but FYI, those can be frozen, and they're at least as good as Eggos if placed in a toaster after.

Got home late last night. I should have taken the day off from work today to rest. I'm gettin' too old be to be a road warrior!paologregorio wrote: Joey, Diane, and I didn't get out of San Rafael until 12:45 pm. Spoke with Dan while both of our parties were on the road. We took the long way home on the 101; went over the Golden Gate Bridge, and saw a lot of cool sights on the way home!

Some very familiar territory in the pics..... brings back memories of great times in SF with Paul, Dalia and Juliana.
Looks like a great event...... congrats to all for putting it together and attending.

And did you notice right on the corner is the Brothers furniture store? I think of you two every day when I pass there.rickenbrother wrote:

@Gary: the 4001c64s was mine and it does have a couch strap, as does my 360/12! Love those straps!

Re: San Francisco Bay Area Confluence ?
I come bearing soundclips!
I don't know why it didn't occur to me sooner to get my Tascam recorder from the car, but I only caught the last 10 minutes or so. Hopefully those who recorded some video will fess up soon!
So, here we go - a lot of people had left by the time we were wrapping up, and I'm not sure I have the guitarists straight ( ), but I know that Tom (the manager) was on drums and Joey was on bass - my Autumnglo, through Woody's Tech 21 SansAmp VT Bass pedal and the horrible PA mixer that was serving as a bass amp. Thank you Woody - that pedal helped give the bass some tone and character!
OK, time for the clips (not sure of the names of a couple of the songs, so I've named them by artist):
white rabbit
Joan Jett
smithereens
I might have said it before, but I'll say it again, I really enjoyed playing with everyone! When can you come back?!!!

Aargh! I only skimmed that thread so I missed the reference. I should have borrowed the bass 'til next year's BARC!rickenbrother wrote:Harry, you must have missed my post here.hieronymous wrote:Hey Joey, did I manage to deaden those strings?

If he had played your bass during our epic 8+ minute version Not Fade Away that surely would have done it!
Hey, if any of you BARCers want an original (unreduced) copy of any of the pics I posted just shoot me a PM with your email address and which ones you want.
