Did you guys see that 360-12 Mapleglo with toasters and a Janglebox sell for 1200.00 yesterday? I sat here with my jaw dropped and it sold before I could beg my wife.

It was an interesting few days on the 'Bay - a 325 Miami in "new" condition (listed as "John Lennon 1957 reissue") sold to one bidder for $1,800 last Friday the 23rd. I'm not sure that the seller knew what he had....

It's all in the timing!

I haven't priced RICs on eBay in a long, long time but how is that possible?

Certainly was a deal for someone. I don't think I've ever seen a bridge so 'butt up' to the pickup, other than on some three pickup models. You couldn't run a hair between the pickup and the bridge.

Let's not be stoopid here. We've all salivated over a mis-priced item at some point.
Do the usual background check: look at the feedback and yeah, the guy has sold LOTSA guitars, so he's not ignorant of what these are worth.
A low buy-it-now can sometimes mean that the entire story has not been told. I'm personally not thrilled with the wood finish, though you can't really judge just by photos. The item condition is listed as "----" and no returns are accepted.
I've had very mixed results with eBay, one of the most positive being buying a 1986 330/6 MG for $1K that's become my number 1 player; the other end of the scale being an almost new 4003 with a neck that could have opened many a bottle of wine and pickups that could have been designed by the North Koreans to jam any North American electronics reception continent-wide.
I hope the buyer got his money's worth, and a seller who's moved that many guitars probably did what he thought was right.
