My folks had a restaurant in East Los Angeles during the 60's. Before I gave myself over to the surf culture I worked and hung out with with lots of low riders...another interesting culture in their own right. We cruised Whitter Blvd in ELA, went to movies at The Golden Gate Theater and drank beer...ahhh the days. The Latin Rock Movement could be a a forum onto itself, but for today I'll post just a few videos that show only a very small part of the influence that carries on til today..Going for more of the garage vibe, this will be a Carlos Santana free zone.
