Everything seems to check out! Intonation was dead on!!!
Very nice! Got a strap and flats ordered.

Good looking set of basses there Jack................I predict your 4003 will be played the most though.

That is indeed a nice FG finish and the FWI are cool too. Well done.

Looks like a nice Peavey bass.

I think there are a lot of fans of the T-40 here. I can definitely say Peaveys have caught my eye a few times.

I found a Luthier at a small shop called Cadence Music. I took the Rick there for a setup and will do the same for the Hofner. Thought it would be worth the 50 bucks to get it right from the get go. I'll keep you posted.

I've found that unless you do a lot of toying around with the strings or action from the outset ("Curiosity Killed The Setup"), new Rics tend to come setup really well. I've heard bad things from other people about badly setup Rics from the factory so I don't want to discredit what they have to say, but as for me, my new Rics all came set up very nicely and with rock solid intonation.
