Just discovered a model of guitar I had somehow missed before when watching this clip:

A bit of internet magic revealed to probably be a Baldwin/Burns 'Virginian'.

Anyone have firsthand experience with these simultaneously attractive/hideous guitars?

Whoever designed the later F's took a design cue from that.

I thought the same thing. Worked out WAY better for the Rickenbacker F-series though (except for the poor folks who've had to rewire them!).

Burns/Baldwin Virginian ...anyone know about them?
