Thirty posts before I can trade merchandise ? Who has 30 legitimate subjects to cover? I think not. I'll go back to other forums for intellectual stimulation.

David, I guess it will be our loss.
Don't take it personal. Many forums require up to 100 posts before trading.
The whole point is to ward off people that drop by just to sell something, then peace out without any discussion. This isn't craigslist, ya know?
30 posts happens real quick if you join in on any of the wide variety of discussions happening every day.

David, don't be a Rickensnob. I've seen your enthusiasm shown in 25 posts in the last week in the RIC Forum alone.
You'll find this to be a friendly place loaded with people who know Ricks, who range from cool to crazy to PIA.
It's a microcosm of the human condition, with a twisted neck and true jangle and thump.
And if you're looking to sell that jacket, you'll find some interest, too. (I've got two already!)

David,
I've seen some people post 30 in a day or less.

Well, you don't have to start 30 new threads on new subjects. All you have to do is enter into a few conversations such as this one or any other that catches your interest. I mean, a post such as the one I'm doing now counts towards the total too...

He posted 25 times? Why is his post count 1 then?

And why do i feel like going cynical every time i see yet another thread of this kind?..

BTW, yeah, 30 (
posts, not threads/new topics) is not much, really. Some make it in a day. On the other hand, for some, it takes years.

Not to be cynical, well, yeah, I'll be cynical...I guess David came here only to sell or buy, as that is not possible on the RIC Forums. As mentioned above, this is not Craigslist, this forum is all about lively, and sometimes, deadly

, discussion and camaraderie.
David, some forums require members to pay $$$$$ to enter the classifieds section, think about that for a millisecond.
If you reconsider, you will be most welcome to join this
wonderful wacky family.

A lot of attention here for a person, (who by multiple choice), a) isn't coming back to read the posts, b) could care less or c) is stymied by the intellectual stimulation and is PO'd because he can't buy/sell something.

(I go with C).

There is a story behind this thread that is not flattering to David. He obviously never intended to abide by our rules. I will leave it that.
