"Der Spiegel" (engl.: The Mirror) is the most important weekly newspaper here in Germany.
This week ' s cover story : About the Beatles' 50th anniversary.
Best regards from Germany !

Re: Cover Story: Beatles
Thank you for the link, Alex.
I must admit that I have not read the "Spiegel" anymore, after they had published a very nasty, unbalanced and insulting cover-story about the "lazy" teachers in Germany some years ago.
By the way the most important weekly newspaper in Germany certainly is "Die Zeit" (The Times), not "Der Spiegel" - "Der Spiegel" is a weekly magazine similar to "Newsweek" and "Time Magazine", NOT a weekly newspaper.

I must admit : Which newspaper - or magazine - is the most important always depends on the point of view....
By the way..I get them both delivered home - the weekly magazine and the weekly newspaper !

I think Paul is referring to this German magazine, though I didn't see anyone in this article who looked like him . . .doctorno wrote:???jingle_jangle wrote:Well, I was in Stern--twice...
