This is a rather nice demo of what one can do with a 340:
I found it when looking for something to play on my 340...
Anyone have 8'500 USD, as that's what they list it for!

Must be fake, everyone knows you just can't play that kind of music on a Rick...
Fun vid, thanks for posting it!

Yeah!
The guy brings a smile to my face - having fun with the guitar and simply throwing stuff out, enjoying the sounds!

I love watching this guy's videos. He really does the Ricks justice, and his personality is a kick.

His guitar demos have been making the rounds at the TDPRI as well. Phil X is a guy who enjoys what he does!

Really cool! I've seen that guy on YouTube before, and I always thought he was kind of goofy, but he plays well, and he's not a bad singer either! And he's getting some great tones out of that 340. I wonder if he knew that the "up" position on the pickup selector on 3-pickup Ricks is the neck and middle pickups together, and you can't get the neck pickup by itself. You can sure hear it on the demo. Having a hotter bridge pickup seems to be the trick to getting good tones out of a Rick--I recently played a new 370 that had a bridge pickup that was half the volume of the other two, and that won't work, not for me anyway. I've got to have them equal, or maybe the bridge pickup a bit hotter. I've always wanted to wire one of those up with the blend knob controlling the volume of the middle pickup only, and the switch selecting neck, bridge, or both.

Less than 5 made in 1966? How does he know that for certain?

I really enjoyed this guy's demo as well.
A completely agree that a hot bridge pickup is key. I've had two toasters custom wound to 14K on a couple of my Ricks by Sergio Silva, and they really kick!

Are the 340 and 370 supposed to be like that? My 340 gives off same level on all three settings - louder on all settings than my 360 as well!
