Hello.
I'm just wondering the position of baseplate.
According to manual, flat wound require the bridge to be closer to the tail of the instrument.
Althought I have four C series guitars, all of the position of baseplate are toward the neck.
Of course,I use flat wound for all 325Cs.
A tech said the posion close to the neck is right.
Which position is right :?:

If you can intonate the guitars properly then there is no need to move the plate.

You're very welcome. :D

Od course, if needed, the plate can be moved to help with getting the saddles in the correct position if they are up against one end or the other of the bridge, itself.

Position your bridge plate so there is still some travel (both frontwards and backwards) for each saddle once the guitar is intonated.
