So I'm Wondering.......

Why isn't there more people who work at the factory post here? I know of only Kenny Howes and obviously John Hall.

I think it would be interesting to hear from them. But, I do realize that Mr. Hall might not like them giving out any "secrets" to how they manufacture guitars, if there are any.

It just occured to me the other day that the workers in the woodshop don't post here. I really would think it'll be interesting to hear from the workers who sweat their butts off making our favorite instruments.

Any others feel this way?

I've often wondered the same thing myself.... It would be interesting to get the perspective of those who are so closely involved with the production of these beautiful instruments!

Ditto, Robert and Melissa!

It would be very nice to hear from some of them here.
Let us say:" Thank you, RIC crew!"

I see seven people who still work here. Many have retired, several have died, and the others have just moved on for a world of different reasons.

I think it's time to update this photo!

I notice one of the guys has a RIDE t-shirt on (one of my favourite bands - and they played Rickenbackers all the time).........

Ride were popular from 1990 to 1993, so I'd say this picture will be approx 10 to 13 years old...

I don't know, Robert.
I saw it for the first time when our John Williams posted it at Voxtalks like 6 months ago if memory serves me. Andrew might be very correct about the time the picture was taken.

Mr. Hall,
Please give us the updated version.
We'll all be happy to see it.

"Many have retired, several have died."
Time waits for no one indeed.
Well, yes, it is time to update that photo.

It must be about 1989-90 based on the lack of any gray in my mustache.

Yeah, time doesn't wait for gray hairs. I've got a bunch, and I'll be 28 in February!!!

Rob, I never felt old because of my gray hairs, but when my older son started graying at 28 four years ago, then I started to admit that I might be inching toward middle age. Image
