I found this pickup that I've had from way back in the days of my music store. I'm assuming it's for the bridge position since the screw top polepieces are under the Gibson stamped logo. I have no idea how old it is. I'd had it in a parts drawer since about '86.
It's got some scratches on it. It works fine. Any idea what it might be worth?

I have two of those (as in a set) Joey. I am curious what they are worth also.

I haven't a clue what they're worth, but I seem to remember seeing them on a mid-70's ES guitar and maybe even a Les Paul from that era.

I remember seeing them on mid 70's Gibsons also. I think there were some gold plated ones as well.

They are standard "T-top" chrome humbuckers with the stamped Gibson logo standard on all full size humbucker models from around 1975 onwards (including ES-335, SG etc..)
value is about $75, IIRC

I think they are from late 1971 or 1972. I had a '72 ES-335 with pickups that were stamped "Gibson" like that.
I do not claim to be an expert here but that is the only period I've actually seen that feature.
I don't know what the value is but I remember I liked the way the guitar sounded

$75?! I'll give you $100 for it if you'll throw in a screwdriver with a sharp enough edge for me to chisel out an enlarged bridge pickup rout on one of my Ricks with it!

Sorry Paulie, I'd rather not see Big Red as a candidate for the Rickenbacker Hall Of Shame, not even for $200 and a PGA waffle breakfast!
