Hal, avoid Vicodin. They are House's downfall, though they could be cheap in Bed-Stuy...

By all means avoid Vicodin. Demerol is much more effective.

None the worse for wear. They also gave me a weapon in case someone tries the same stunt again.

I fell through a hole in a floor (on the job fortunately) and suffered a Tibial Plateau Fracture (f...ed up lower knee joint). By the luck of the draw, my Orthopedic Surgeon was the best around. His bedside manner sucked, but he ****** me off so much that I recovered 2 months ahead of schedule. Unfortunately, that meant that I couldn't sue everyone involved and retire to a life of leisure.
Seriously-make getting better your main "job" and if you need support, we're here.
Stay off the "heavy duty" painkillers if you can.

I never liked taking pain killers, at least not the ones that affect your senses. I like to have my wits about me. I don't even drink. They gave me a prescription for some heavy duty motrin, but I might not need it.

I'm not really into drugs, but I do really like the realistic IMAX 3D dreams I get with Tylenol with codeine. I've taken it maybe 4 or 5 times in my life, and it worked every time. Anyone else experience this side effect? Way too much downside for any regular use, though.

I was taking Zoloft once, I had a dream I was a victim on the Island of Dr. Moreau. Very vivid. I had lots of other realistic dreams, but that one I remember clearly.
