Three Ricks and Two Fenders
Forgive the "bookends."
Can we have everything louder than everything else?
Re: Three Ricks and Two Fenders
Nice bookends, nothing to be ashamed about those.
Re: Three Ricks and Two Fenders
great collection, i am envious.
Re: Three Ricks and Two Fenders
I'd be happy to have those bookends... along with those other ones...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...
Re: Three Ricks and Two Fenders

Re: Three Ricks and Two Fenders
Actually curious about that P-bookend there. Looks like fun!
Re: Three Ricks and Two Fenders
I love that fretless P-bass. What a great looking bass.

Why does that DCM have frets on it? Oh yeah, they only made them with frets.
(I'll bet there's a fretless one out there, though . . . )
Cool collection!

There is no reason to ever be bored.

Re: Three Ricks and Two Fenders
I thought this thread had disappeared long ago...the fretless P-bass is an early '76 Walnut (serial # on neck plate) that plays and sounds great. It's got the LaBella 1954 set on it nowadays. Close to 11 lbs though. When I bought it, it had the reissue "gold" anodized pickguard and I added the re-issued ashtray and pickup cover that I sprayed gold to match the PG as you see it in the picture. Since then, I acquired a period-correct black PG and installed it with the original chromed ashtray and pickup cover.
In retrospect, it looks a whole lot better in this photo than it does currently as stock!
