Required Licks

Every so often a song comes along that all guitar players buckle down and learn note for note...Cream/Crossroads, Jimi/Red House...earlier on was this tune which has nearly every guitar phrase a guy or gal needed to know to rock at that time..also all the sax riffs could be copped for guitar..still a cool one

In 1963 in my first "public" performance, I played this song solo for the 7th grade Talent Day on my Gibson Melody Maker and 5 watt Skylark amp with Tremolo. In my mind, it sounded just like this. Reality was another thing altogether, but I was hooked.
