I was a big Cheap Trick fan in about 1977 (at age 14 or so), but I sort of drifted away shortly after that. Good to see that the band still retains all original members and that they can really sound good on good material in 2010. And nice vintage Ricky hanging 'round Robin Zander's neck there at the end (forget the pun - not going there).
I think a great encore would have been to come out after about 5 straight minutes of applause and do
Her Majesty, all 27-odd seconds worth, and then bolt. I'd like to do that sometime...
Finally, never underestimate what you'll hear or see in Vegas. As long as they mop the floor occasionally in the venue you're going to, you're bound to see something worth remembering (no mopping = remembered, but you probably can't tell us about it here). I got married there coming up on three years ago. I have six or seven basses that each cost more than my entire wedding, and they're not terribly rare or expensive. I do love my wife, yes, yes, yes.
And George, thanks for posting.

BTW, that's Bill Lloyd from the Nashville duo 'Foster and Lloyd' playing the Telecaster wearing the black jacket to Rick Neilson's right.

Great peace. Interesting to hear Penn talk about the Sgt. Pepper show. I've barely become used to "bad" being "good" and now I find that "stupid" means "great." I know English is a "dynamic" language, but the current trend of reversing meanings is making me feel . . . uh . . . "great"!

Cheap Trick and guests did that show at the Hollywood Bowl in 07 and 08, my daughter and I went both times. There is a Beatles' show at the HB next month, we'll be there.
