Rickenbacker TR14 Amp - Need Info

Hi People,
I'm always looking for different amps to try out, if the price is nice. There's a TR14 that's still in the cheapo category on evilBay, and I'm interested in possibly adding this 1x10 speakered SS amp to my small stable of amps. Have any of you esteemed forum members owned and/or played a TR14? If so, what were your impressions good and bad, about it (played both clean and dirty)?
Thanks,
Ellen

I'd say buy it, especially if it's in the "El Cheapo" category. I've heard fellow forum members playing their Ricks through these at a couple of the So Cal Events. They sounded good to my ears. In any case, it has to be built far better than
any of the recent Fender small amps, except maybe the tube, hand-wired Bullet.
Interesting info on rick amps:

I have a TR-7. It's a great sounding little amp. The tremolo will cause seizures, but the distortion is pretty useless.

Hmmmm, VERY interesting. Even if I bought it only for its tremolo. I could always use a dirt pedal if I have to. So, $90 isn't overpriced?

Well color me stupid!!

I got so caught up in taking photos of my new 360, that I missed out on bidding on the TR14!! Doh!! I did do some damage control though. I saved a search for Ric amps on the 'Bay.
