"Runaway" is still a staple for Garage/Surf Bands everywhere-either as an instrumental or as a vocal. I chose to spotlight a couple of lesser known and more "garagie" tunes.
As many of you know, Del was picked to replace Roy Orbison in "The Traveling Wilburys", but died.

With the great Dennis Farina!
Hey Kenpo-let's work out that harmonizing distorted guitar solo for a Mini-Con or SG101 convention.

I believe you're the winner!

After we played "Runaway", a "regular" at the venue came up to me and said, "I thought that was an organ, but now I know it's a guitar". God bless the Hughes and Kettner Rotosphere.
