Beck is IT! There ain't no where to go from there.
The other day, I heard The Impressions doing "People Get Ready". EXQUISITE! Did it match the emotion of Beck-NO! I got to play Becks version at a jam once with some MONSTER players. Beau Mc Dougal from Fender was on lead-and at the end, I was crying and worn out-and I was just the "color" guy throwing in some 12-string chord/delay lines.
