I was priveledged to be a "VIP" at the Endless Summer 35th Anniversary Concert in 2000 at the Galaxy Theater. Great show, and The Sandals ROCKED! I wish some footage of it and The Rendezvous Ballroom Reunion concert would surface.
The day in 1965 that the movie opened at The Gloria Theater in Charleston, SC; my buddies and I got there for the first screening and sat through every one.
