Holy Grail achieved (part 2).....in Canada!

Alright, well.....in the past i've used the term "holy grail" quite literally before (see: http://rickresource.com/forum/viewtopic ... 2&t=385607 ), this time I feel like i've finally completed the package.
Read that thread first, then proceed.... I rarely post "show 'n' tell" threads, so here goes..
After I scored my Rose Morris 1998 back in 2008, I figured I wouldn't have much luck finding my **even higher up** "Holy Grail" Rickenbacker, a Rose Morris 1993 model.
....then one found me.
In fact, the guitar found me through the great people of this very forum. Here's the (short version) of the story:
Sometime ago, Brian Morton (OntarioRicFan), in Hamilton Ontario, Canada posted about a local musician named Bill Dillon, and included pictures of his great Rics. Bill has been a professional guitarist for many years, having worked with numerous big names (Robbie Robertson, Dan Lanois, Sarah Mclochlan, Counting Crows, The Pretenders just to name a few). He's also a die-hard Rickenbacker fan and gear head like the rest of us.
Well, he joined the forum not too long ago, and managed to email me through this forum about our guitars etc. Turns out we're both into MCI Guitorgans and many other things. It also turned out that Bill is really into double-bound OS style Rickenbackers. Luckily I recently came across a MINT '68 365 OS in nice flamey mapleglo, and I was really into his '64 Rose Morris 1993 / 330S/12 (not sure which, yet). So we started talking about a trade..
Bill was the second owner of this guitar from way back to the 1960s. He did a few modifications to it here and there, including binding the soundhole and headstock, and a fretboard swap to get the guitar more like George Harrison's 360/12. The mods were, in my opinion, tastefully done---especially considering what others have done to Rics in the past.
Because of Canada's strict import taxes, we agreed it would be most logical to simply fly the 365 OS to Canada and meet in person.
So...I booked a flight and flew on up there!
Canada is really cool, i'd never been there before, and they have the nicest people you can imagine. Bill graciously took me in and we jammed and played guitar constantly for the two days I was there. Bill is legendary on the guitar, I was quickly humbled (I think my fingers just gave up...), and the guy is a wealth of experience and information. Thanks Bill, I can't speak highly enough of you, dude.
We also met up with Brian (who I should have gotten a picture with!). Thanks for the beers!
After a short day there, I had to fly home again (whole trip was 60 hours long, including travel time!). Just got home last night exhausted and took pics today:
I'm sure I'll be back that way again. Sadly, it had to be a quick trip as I started at a new job today. Next time i'll make a point of spending some more time on the East coast with other forumites etc...
