my apologies if this is a rehash, but a forum search yielded nothing..
where was I , oh yeah .. will toaster covers fit on HB's? boy howdy wouldn't that just look special on my JG 650C??also if they do is it just a couple screws to pop and voila... or is it an incredible pain in the posterior and not even worth the hassle?

It's doable; soneone here on the forum can give you the details. Brian Medway's done it. I have an early 90s HB that the cover fit right over, but I think some corner sanding on the newer HBs is required for a fit. Something like that. Someone here will have the exact details.

I've done it, twice actually. They are a very snug fit. I didn't sand them down or anything. I just carefully put them on, tried to snug it up the best I could by hand, then slowly and little by little, alternating like the lug nuts on a car wheel, screwed the bolts back in as to get uniform tension. From a distance they look real, but up close you can tell.

I guess I have to be different. I like the look of the HBs.
