Shameless self promotion

This is a board mix from our last gig, using the '96 4003. It's way up front - as it should be. Josh does good justice to the Who tunes, and yes, I came in in the wrong place. Dave & I were goofing around instead of working...

Well, if it features loud bass, it can't be a bad thing! I can't hear it yet since Soundclick (or my wireless connection) is stalling, but I'm looking forward to it.

You should come on over to the 'Rick Recordings By RRF Members' page. We're all about the shameless self-promotion over there. I'm sure you'd fit right in. Joey - can we move Scott's post so he can meet the other kids?

I'm moving this to the "Rickenbacker Recordings By RRF Members" forum, but I"ll also leave it here for a while, so Scott doesn't think his thread evaporated.
Scott, post more of the recordings if you have them! 8)

Haha--I don't really know the Who very well so I kept sitting there going, "Uh, where the heck is the bass??!?" When it finally came in it was a nice surprise, cool tone.

There it went. HA! That's really cool, Scott, Awesome sound out of that bass. You got a great thunderbirdish tone from it. Very Entwhistle. Your singer rocks, too. Pulling off Daltrey vocals takes some serious cajones!

Yes Scott, that was 'shameless self promotion' and I'm glad you did! That was a really good Baba! Nice bright tone on the bass... I'm loving it! And as with the previous commenters - your singer does Roger justice.

Scott, I forgot to ask, what kind of strings are you using on that 4003? Mark

The Hartke 3 pack strings. 40-95.

Those are the same ones you put on the 4000 conversion aren't they? What ever they are Bro, they sound great. Mark
