There's a newly released Gretsch book available to anyone who hasn't already heard about it.
Gretsch 6120 ,The History of a Legendary Guitar ,Evolution of a Species by Edward Ball.

I had pre-ordered my copy and it arrived last week. It is extremely well-researched and nicely presented. The main focus is on the development of the 6120, but Ed provides a lot of interesting info on the history and production methods at Gretsch and covers other models too, especially pre-Atkins models.

I had it pre ordered since January from Amazon UK ,after 4 or 5 updates they cancelled,said it was no longer available .
I emailed Ed and he was just as confused as I!

Thanks for the comments regarding this new Gretsch book. It looks like it will eventually be in my library.

I picked up my copy at the Philly Guitar Show a couple of weeks ago (Ed Ball was autographing copies) and I'll second libratune's comments - it's a very well done book and a worthy addition to your library.
