The pickup mounts are cream colored, the flash makes them look white. This guitar is a 1998 Gibson Les Paul Standard with Gold Hardware. It's all original and came with all the hang tags too.Wildberry wrote:Nice, I love HCS!
Are those white PU mounts, though? If so and not caused by the flash, maybe cream ones would look better?

You were expecting a two piece back?octagon wrote:It has a one piece back

I'm quite lost now. The back of the LP Classic is supposed to be one piece - I fail to see multiple pieces in the picture of the back, btw.octagon wrote:I didn't know. Do all Standards have a one piece back? I used to have a Classic that had a 2 piece back.
Hey, no probs!octagon wrote:sorry,I must be misrembering
I think my Deluxe had a 3-piece maple neck.Wildberry wrote:Hey, no probs!octagon wrote:sorry,I must be misrembering
There have, however, been two, even three-piece necks on Gibson LPs.
Currently only Epiphone LPs still have multi piece necks.
