In April, I had a flight from San Diego and had an early breakfast in the airport cafe. Several "musician types" took the table next to mine. When a couple more came in, I offered them the vacant seats at my table. They were the Guess Who in their present configuration (a couple of original members-the drummer got the name after the break-up) They were really nice guys. They had played at the Convention Center for a National Association of Indian Casinos Convention. Later, when I was boarding my flight, I overheard a couple of ladies who had seen the show talking about how great they sounded.doctorwho wrote:I saw the Guess Who perform around 1973 in Peoria, IL ... they were absolutely fantastic.
