I've got a JetGlo 480. Who here has experimented with other Pickups? Toasters? Humbuckers? I've got a pair of HiGains in the offing and thinking about putting Humbuckers in there for fun. Anyone tried this or something similar?

PS Goes without saying... All Rick Pickups, so no carving.

I think 480 pickups is a wee bit overkill.

I put a 12k toaster in the bridge with the 0.0047 cap and a Ric HB (under a toaster cover) in the neck position. I wanted the "aggressive chime" with a little bit of bottom end and sustain. I keep them both on and just blend in the neck to where I like it. Looks cool, sounds cool.
