I just ran across this one today by the Australian band Beatnix. I think it's great (I was LMAO).

The drummer in this lineup of The Beatnix comes from my hometown. He used to play in the local Jazz bigband (along with my Dad)

Eden.

They are a talented bunch of geezers aren't they? I saw this before on youtube when it first went viral and I still think it's great.

A talented bunch indeed.... how many other groups have recorded 'It's For You'
... one of the most overlooked of the overlooked Beatles songs.

Cilla Black not withstanding

We should learn this for the SCARF/Jakejam; wouldn't take too much, since we already paly all of the elements of the song in their original form. :)

There's a jam song idea !! :D
It's got the melodies of maybe 4 Beatle songs in there.... Hold Your Hand ... Please Please Me ... Twist and Shout ... and I think one more. Just have to figure out the sequencing :? of it all with the Stairway lyrics ...

I thought this was absolutely brilliant in its creativity and execution. I also liked it better than the Zep original. Their attention to detail is impressive. I liked the little George side-step dance and the guy that's doing Lennon has his stage mannerisms down cold. There were a couple of times that I swore it was John. Very entertaining. Thanks for posting this Gary. Tom

There's a bit of "She Loves You" as well. :)
