Dick Dale says he'll be back

Dick replied to my get well message today. I'll share with you his words:
thank you
i am home recouping as i have become anemic and very weak from a 8 hour operation with 3 surgeons as they had to re-route my inner organs. my blood is not where it belongs even after transfusions.
But, i will get better and i will be back... thank you for your prayers... dick

Thank you Kira. That man is a fighter, and I wouldn't bet against him!
Almost everyone I know who has emailed him has gotten a reply. That's class!

I look forward to see Dick's return to the stage. Thanks for sharing his reply Kira. I wish him the very best. He is a masterful performer with a wonderful spirit.

Skip is right. Dick has tried to respond to everyone who sent him a get well message. I received a nice personal reply, that was full of hope a couple of weeks ago. He is still showing musicians how to be good at their craft and man is he classy individual. My hat is off to this fine man. He is an inspiration to all his peers and fans alike to keep fighting no matter what the odds are against you.

Well, he has nothing to prove by me; that is, I do wish the odds weren't stacked quite so high against him. He deserves better.
