 This "10 hours work" terminology for getting a good and extensive job done seems to become a running gag ....I guess I read it in some other thread here..... 8)

Can the work the blacksmith did pull out your fillings?! Or is it the reissue?

Two handrests. That is a comfortable bass!

I have a 660/12 and a '66 360/12. I prefer the neck on my 360/12, even though I can't type without striking two keys on my keyboard with my fat fingertips. I prefer the 660/12 neck over any newer 3 series 12 necks I've played though.

Jerry can you give me some details as to why you prefer your 660 neck over any 360 12 c 63 neck. I just landed a 360 12 c 63 and I must admit the neck feels wider with a flat spot running down the back of the neck like a 1960s les paul. While very comfortable, very different feel then a std rick neck. 1.63 at the nut 1.931 at the 12th fret, 7.14 inch fingerboard radius. Strange that these specs are the same specs as the regular 360 12 from the rick web site except for a 10 inch fingerboard radius. Also that one is a 21 fret neck and the other is a 24 fret neck. Now I also know that the radius makes a big difference in the way the neck feels. So I would like to know your thoughts on this.

kingblud wrote:what a gift for Rickenbacker. This is the ultimate market research on how much people want a 660-style neck on a 330/360 body. And, consider it has the black hardware and binding, which is not as popular as the traditional-style hardware and binding. Wide neck hollow body 12s, MAKE IT HAPPEN! :D
+1 to that!

If it happens some day I sure hope that they don't have a $10,000 MSRP  'cause I want one too!
