Trouble with embedding videos

How come I'm having trouble with embedding u-tube vids? I enter the embed info as I've always done but the post turns up blank. Is there some change in the formatting that I'm unfamiliar with?

Yes there has been a change that I noted in another thread. Just cut and paste everything immediately after v= between the youtube backets and it will work.

That's funny, Scott! I do that to Tripper all the time.

But I'm still in the dark here. Here's the code from my selected video:

Code: Select all

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/M1pXcMw-8Nk?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/M1pXcMw-8Nk?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
I don't see any "v=" in that info. :(

OHHHHH! I see that you're using the URL info, not the embed info. Now that's different. OK. I think I have it now. :)

Kira: From your code with M1pXcMw-8Nk? highlighted and then youtube box selected.
