Beautiful, but already the bidding is higher than any price I've paid for a Rick bass. Wish I could, but . . . .

It's interesting that nearly all of the special one-off basses that have appeared in the last couple of years have black plastic and black hardware. The folks at RIC must be using up leftover stock as BT/BH was officially no longer available after 2002.

Okay...As I said before I love the look of this bass. A big high five to all those involved in creating it. I'm a huge fan of the tobacco burst in general.

And I hope this comment doesn't insult anyone, but I think if I could be lucky enough to order a bass like this from a custom shop, I'd choose a gold plexi pick guard and TRC, and all of the chrome/nickel hardware that came on a 4001C64S.

I'm with Jeff - IMHO this gorgeous finish would look better with gold plastic and chrome hardware.

Ya know what? It's a really good thing this bass doesn't have really flamey maple...

I think putting GH on it would make it look awful... it's great as it looks now... I wonder how it would look on a 360... mmm... nice bass though!
