360/6 with toasters or a 370/6

Just a little delima, and a great one to have! I have to choose between two Rics. A Fireglo 360/6 with toasters or a Jetglo 370/6 with standard high gains. Pros, cons, thoughts?

Why do you have to choose between these two ? Why not get the exact color and pick-up combination you want ?? In my experience, the 300 series 6-strings with the adjustable hi-gains are great and flexible guitars. The third pick-up of the 370 would get in the way of my picking so that's out. I would buy a 360 with adjustable hi-gains in the color you want.

I can't really shop by model since all guitars sound and feel different. I'd just play them both and buy the one I liked better. And if I did find that I liked both guitars equally, I'd buy the least expensive one.

Three pickup Ricks are cool but not necessarily better: I had a GREAT 340 but I just found that the middle pickup got in my way. So I'd go with the 360. But that's entirely a personal preference issue. Just don't assume that the fancier or "more desirable" Rick is always better for you.

I would go with the 360 with the toasters.

The third pickup on the 370 is not essential, and 2 toasters, if added onto a 360, would cost an additional $300.

Even though the 370 is currently out of production, it doesn't seem to have much additional "collectors value" over a 360 on a resale outlet such as the 'Bay.

Hope this helps!
