Fabulous Rare Birds

I really hate everything about the words in the subject line, but exceptions have to be made and superlatives need to be delineated, especially when they are still "cheap" and very collectible. Of all the postwar Rick lap steels, these don't get the respect they deserve.
I speak hereof the Academy and Ace models.
The both are one piece bakelite body instruments and have the famous/infamous horseshoe pickups.
I have several. They are all good and what I consider cheap.
There are several of these on Ebsy now.
None of them are mine and i don't have any interest in any of them, but I think that these are possibly some of the best post war Rick lap steels.

As a moderator, I hope i didn't break too many rules, but it is so unusual to see several of these available at one time, I just had to let everyone know.
