If so, please let me know if you see Mike Campbell (or Tom) playing a '68 370 OS. I just sold mine to him.

A certain British friend of his came to my house, inspected it, and bought it for him. He mentioned he was leaving later that day to tour with the band, and that Mike wanted it to play. A very nice gentleman, and certainly knowledgeable about guitars...

I'll let you know after Tuesday's concert in San Diego.

I missed Friday's show in Houston, but the Houston Chronicle had a great review.
The Heartbreakers, by now, are a well-oiled machine. Every player had a chance to shine and integrated seamlessly with the next.

... that little ol' band from Texas never disappoints. In fact, the songs seem to get more piercing, more biting with age.

Well, no joy in San Diego...

Bought the tickets in March for the show originally scheduled to play 6/2. Then it was postponed becuase they were still working on tracks to Mojo, but then they booked dates in Denver for the original So Cal swing.

Concert rescheduled to last night. Took vacation, drove to San Diego, got a motel, loaded up and drove to the concert... POSTPONED to 10/5  .

Appears Mr. Petty has a viral infection so here's to a speedy recovery.

I cannot make next week, so I have to get a refund.

Anyway, there's a block of 4, 3rd Row center tickets that just got released.

Steve -- that's frustrating and a b-i-g-g-g-g disappointment that the concert changed so many times on you, and you went all the way to San Diego and still got the Cancellation story.   Very sorry to hear this tale, as I know you were so looking forward to it.

Yeah, it was disappointing. Maybe they will do another tour in the future.

Well my refund $$ will get put to good use, buying my daughter's wedding dress.

Saw the rescheduled Phoenix concert last week and it was great, sounded great. Went out and bought the new CD, Mojo. Met The Heartbreakers in Dallas a few weeks ago, invited them to our office to lot view our new vintage guitar auction in November and then we all went to dinner. Roadie, Alan Rogan got me the tickets for Phoenix. Pretty nice!

Incidentally, Chuck Berry was the opening act, not ZZ Top. He got the crowd going but he and his band are so unprepared.....
