360/12c63 with Gold Pickguard?

Is the gold pickguard on this 360/12c63 an aftermarket part or is it available as a special order option from Rickenbacker?

You can get them from Pickguardian, and he will paint your TRC to match. I don't know of any c63's that shipped out like that.

The c63 has a plexi TRC which cannot be painted.

Can't it be stripped and repainted from the back of the plexi? I'm not saying thats what was done here, I guess we could ask him on YT.

He uses it on another video. Its a 2008 Rickenbacker 1996 AFG. With gold guards. Looks very nice.

I thought you traded your TRC for a gold one at RIC, then Pickguardian made the pickguard to match your TRC.
