Hello from Saskatchewan!
So how do I register this piece of lumber?

I think you can only register the lumber if it has been made into a Rickenbacker first!

Otherwise click on the register tab on the top right and then click "add an instrument"

Feed in the details - SN, Model, Colour etc and hit "submit" and voila the RIC is in... Add some pictures too if you are able

Hmmm...
The registry is arguing with me over date of manufacture. Can someone check DoM for ML6597?

Your bass was manufactured in December of 1973 according to the serial number provided.

Just leave the manufacturing date empty and it will fill it up for you.

I figured it out ; I wasn't typing DoM in accurately. Now my story:
The dude I bought this fiddle from in '84 thought it was a '78 model; now I find out it's a '73 which suits me fine. She's kinda ugly because the P.O. used to get hammered up and play the cymbals with her. Was also known to fall off the stage. I've found a quality local luthier to do the resto and I won't flinch paying $600 dollars, she's worth it! Because of the aforementioned cymbal playing, the tuners have been replaced but I've made a set of Pings look like wavy Grovers. They'll have to do for now. I've had Ricky for 26 years and knew nothing about er 'til now!

Under the pickguard below the pots a smmall area was masked off. On the natural wood written in ink is "4001S Eloise". I assume she was the Quality Control lady back then. Does anyone else have her sig? What others are there?

I've just noticed that my province(Saskatchewan) didn't make it into my registry data. How would i correct?

Click on "Rickenbacker Register" at the top right of these pages, then click on "My Records", then click on your record for the guitar in question. At the bottom of the page in the border, there are a number of links you can click:

RETURN TO THE RICKENBACKER REGISTER | ADD ITEM TO COMPARISON ENGINE | EDIT | IMAGES MANAGER

Click on the "EDIT" link. You can then change most of the info about your entry. Be sure to select "CANADA" under the Country entry in order to get the Canadian provinces to show under the State/Province entry.
