Rickenbacker vs Many Other Basses Comparison

I found it really hard to find a video that compared the sound of different basses. You can find the sounds of different basses on youtube easily enough, but its never with the same player, with the same amp, same playing style, etc.
So I tried a project. I did a cover of "Freewill" and played 7 different basses on it. Rickenbacker 4003, Rickenbacker 4001FL, Pre-EB Stingray, EBMM Sterling, Fodera NYC, Lakland 4-94, Fender Custom Shop Deluxe Jazz.
Each of the basses have both pickups on, and flat eq. For the sterling I use position "4". I use a similar playing style. Anyway, you can see the results - the basses all sound quite different. IMHO the Rick really shows up well. I posted this at talkbass where it got a lot of play, so if you saw it there already - well, here it is again
