Accomodation??

Post by gregga41 »

To my English friends i pose this question.
My 24 year-old daughter, Sarah, is breaking out into the big, bad world next June.
She's planned and booked a 33-day Contiki tour throughout the British Isles and Europe.
Arriving in England around June 14, 2011, she's looking for a place to board for a week before her tour begins, wanting to take in the sights
of England on her own feet, so to speak.
Any advice or offers would be greatly appreciated, by both Sarah and myself!

Would love to help you out, but I've no idea if I will be around on those dates yet (my year gets planned about 3 months in advance). Good luck.

Gregg, if Sarah should plan to visit Munich a few days she is welcome here. My daughter Jana is the same age (since yesterday :) ), 2010 she spent 7 months in Brisbane. Haven't talked to Jana yet, she's heavyly busy at university these days, but I guess we could get that sorted out. Let me know ! Cheers, Alex

Sarah has left the beautiful U.K and is now in Europe. From all reports she loved her week in London and Manchester and is coming back to England after her Contiki tour to check out Liverpool and all things Beatles for her dear old Dad.
Apologies to my English buddies if she has destroyed the economy over there, or has drunk all your beer! I think she made sure she had a pint in just about every pub she came across! :D

Oh, I have a sneaking suspicion they'll be able to brew up another batch or three.

I'll drink what's left...... not fussed. If there's nothing left I'll just whizz over the Oirish Sea and drink their slops.

Failing that..... back to the Munich beer halls!!
