Pickup Question

When ever I switch between my pickups on my 330 there is a lot of static or feedback (not sure what you would call it) when I touch the Pickup selector. But it only happens when there are notes being played.
This might be to hard to understand. I might ad a video of what I mean. So if anyone knows what I'm talking a bout please fill me in. I'm actually taking the guitar in to get a knew bridge on so I might have him look at the electronics as well.

Switch contacts need a cleaning and/or adjustment.

+1, the switch contacts are barely making contact, which is causing the noise when you handle the switch.

Sometimes it's good to be a little dirty but not when it comes to guitar switches... crud can build up on the contacts for all sorts of reasons. Usually a little careful cleaning and smooth/silent switching is back at you finger tips! Worse comes to worse you can replace the switch - but I'll bet that isn't necessary.

Hi Kieran - one after thought - if you use any kind of electrical cleaner on the switch contacts be very careful with it in regards to the wood/finish and plastic. Some of the cleaners will mess that stuff up. I always put a towel or two between me and the body and try to mask off the area on the back of the plastic with cloth or cardboard....
