Guy Mitchell, easy. If this is the last one of these I'll miss it Roy. It's become a nice feature of my Saturday mornings along with the coffee...

This one came copyright restricted -- apparently the US isn't allowed to view Tommy Steele singing Singing the Blues?!!
I looked all over YT for another TS version -- it was blocked as well. I have no idea why this specific tune is blocked to the US. I visited his page on Wikipedia -- and he had quite a career!!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tommy_Steele -- he did a bit of everything! I listened and watched some of his other music videos on YT as they weren't all restricted -- he had a lovely voice! He was a great all around entertainer back in the day!
It would have been fun to hear his version of this song, but I have a feeling my vote would have been cast to GM anyways as it is so engrained in my childhood!
I DO hope you continue with this US vs. UK -- I've gotten to hear some wonderful UK music that I never knew existed.

For those of us in the States, you can hear Tommy's version here;

Thanks Jeff, pity they didn't choose the vid I posted which was original, this seems to have a audience in background dubbed on.
Strange that a song 54 years old would be be prevented from being played

My favourite version is Guy Mitchell's.
Thanks Roy... hope you can squeeze in a few more of these for us please!

Another difficult choice. I'm finally leaning to Guy Mitchell - Tommy's Elvis imitation gets a bit irritating!

I downloaded TS version -- thank you! It's nice -- but my vote must go to Guy Mitchell -- just as figured -- too engrained in my childhood that way!
