Yeah,, in addition to Rickenbackers I'm a closet Carvin fan.
Alot of folks dont care for them, and thats OK, but I think their a wonderful bass for the money.
My 3 Carvins, all were gifts from my wife:
'00 B4 Swamp ash, transparent Sapphire blue, black hardware (40th birthday gift)
'10 BB70 Copperhead metallic, black hardware, black logo (50th birthday gift)
'08 ICON 4P flame top, matching head, black hardware (fathers day gift)

Scott I had my eye on that, I was set to pull the trigger. I already have a LB70 in Copperhead......It's my go to girl.
