King Henry unveils his latest tribute to his outsized ego:

Reminds me of a line from a movie:
"Ladies and gentlemen; the future of law enforcement.
I give you-ROBOCOP"!

Read the comments on the page. Universally negative...
Plug-ugly to boot.
It's pathetic when one person's ego can distort his perceptions so very much that he loses touch with reality, while thinking himself a visionary.

I don't know what to say here. I'm a Gibson fan and I've been less than impressed with most of their new "revolutionary" guitars (Robots, Diablo, Dusk Tiger, zoot suit, and now this).
I haven't played one of these but I don't think I would because the design doesn't appeal to me. It's ugly.
But putting all of that aside, what a terrible presentation!

I agree Dan. That was really poor form. He should have used a communication professional. That guitar does zippo for me btw.

This guitar wasn't supposed to be introduced until December 11th and they made a big deal about that being some "special day". I wonder what caused them to bump the schedule up? The only thing I can think is that it wasn't much of a secret anymore, i.e. the cat got out of the bag earlier than planned.

Maybe they had a conflict with booking the American Legion Hall in Hamtramck?

Shhhh, Brian...
Don't say "Zippo" too loud, or the next version will light cigars too!

Reading the comments on that page, this struck me as odd: "is this man mentally ill? looks like a bloody rickensbacker" (sic)
I'd say the guy who wrote that is mentally ill - it looks a lot more like a Firebird than any Rick!
