Kira, has graciously consented to take over hosting duties in The Groove Yard. We look forward to her guidance in this section as she provides us with keen insight and of course her brilliant sense of humour.
Let's all lend her our support and best wishes.

Nice one Kira Im hoping youll do well,
Better than that Winston like a rusty bell,
Ringing on and on with his dullest tone,
Ive heard that Medway is on the phone,
He has served us long he has served us well
From Name that tune I thought was swell
to Who am I great threads no lie
seen the laughs, lows and highs I new it would come there is no surprise
So time will pass and the time was great
Mr Medway is still here to global moderate
and like his hair thus must reseed
My lines are done ive done my deed.
Nice one kira have a ball here......
and Medway did you think you were departing without a Scotty send off?

Gotta thank you for all your hard work Brian - your insight, wit, and firm but gentle hand at the wheel have been greatly appreciated! You are an absolute star!
...and thanks for stepping up to the plate Kira - I'm sure you'll fill Brian's well-worn shoes with aplomb! You may want to fumigate them first though....

Thanks, guys! Brian has done a fantastic job with this section, and I was a little surprised to learn that he felt the need to pass the helm over to someone else. This has really been his baby since they combined all the various Music History genres into one, and thus made it easy for people to discover great musical things that may have been off their beaten paths. Indeed I have some distinguished shoes to fill - good thing I have big feet!
I'll be easing into the job because I've had a lot on my plate last days and lost some sleep over Tripper's health situation. Feel free to carry on, post new things or suggest or request some others; This has not been a difficult or controversial section for the moderators as I recall, so I'm just looking forward to having a lot of fun with you all (as soon as my wits return).

Thanks Evan,
I bet some people reckon I paid you to say that!
However, we both know that I didn't and let me tell you, I appreciate your very kind words very much. Your sentiments mean a lot to me.
Rock on Kira.
