I stumbled on to this on TV late Saturday night completely by (fortunate) accident. Jeff Beck doing a tribute to Les Paul. The below clip is from a show done at the Iridium Club in New York earlier this year. It shows Jeff has lost none of his stuff over the years, and the Irish singer Imelda May does a great Mary Ford.

For American readers, PBS is running this during their fund raising drive over the holidays. The whole show was terrific and worth putting up with the pledge breaks to see.

That was great! Pretty refreshing to see Jeff play without a whammy bar in his hand for a change.

Best thing Jeff has done in many years, quite possibly since the old Rod Stewart days. And Imelda both sounds and looks delicious...

I'll be seeing this show in So CA in early April....looking forward to it! I've seen Jeff several times (first time with Beck Bogart and Appice in 1970's and then a few times recently over the past several years) and always enjoy his shows.

While I understand that Jeff Beck is currently touring the States with Imelda May, shortly before he left the UK he sat down in a BBC Radio 2 studio together with ex-Manfred Man front man, Paul Jones to talk extensively about the recording of Roll ‘n’ Roll Party (Honoring Les Paul) at New York’s Iridium Jazz Club. A club forever associated with Les Paul, who played there regularly from when it first opened for business in 1994 until his death in 2009 at the age of 94.
In between tracks, Jeff Beck also touched on his time with the Yardbirds and the Jeff Beck Group, his horrific car crash during December, 1969 that left him with a fractured skull and recurring hearing problems and his resulting collaborations with Stevie Wonder and George Martin.

Great stuff, thanks for posting this. Also nice to hear Paul Jones; he used to have a show on the BBC World Service called "Soundabout" that I listened to years ago.
