Hey gang. I'm opening for Nathan Leigh of Brooklyn, NY at the Electric Maid in Takoma Park, MD (a stone's throw from the DC border) next Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at 7:30pm.
I'll be playing the '81 Guild D212M acoustic 12-string and a Rickenbacker 12-string to be named later. You can hear old J Dog songs, new original songs, some It Rhymes With Orange songs, songs from the infamous RRF-banned "A.H." collection, and perhaps the new 4th verse of "Santa Come To Tampa."
The Electric Maid is an arts and cultural center, and so it's not a club and there is NO ALCOHOL. So show up loaded!!!
Suggested donation (not technically an admission price) is ten US dollars.
Locals can hop on the Metro (red line to Takoma, it's a block from that station). There is also free street parking after 6:30 pm, I'm told. I recommend nearby Mark's Kitchen for very good affordable eats and a good beer selection. If you go to Mark's Kitchen, don't trust google maps, it's actually much closer, right next to Middle East Market.
Thanks everyone!
