Appanetly Al Cisneros is one of the RRF members here. Very cool. Hope you don't mind me posting the old video Al!

There was a recent article in Bass Player about Al.

They played a great show at the Regency in SF this past fall. I hope they think about recording some more together, but whatever Al does kills, IMO. That song is fun to play, too.

Ah luvs muh stoner metal! Along with "Into The Void" by Black Sabbath, I use the opening riffs of "Dragonaut" to check how guitars sound for playing heavier styles of music.
Last year, the reunion tour was looking like a one-time thing. At the time Matt Pike mentioned that him and Al have their own things going on (with High on Fire and Om), and Chris really didn't want to perform anymore. But I see that they got another drummer for the string of dates they did late this year. So is new material possible? Who knows? Would it be another album sized song like "Dopesmoker"? I'd kind of hope not. That is one HARD album to listen to.

WOW!!! That is SO COOL to hear Al!!! I was under the impression from an interview of Matt, that I read last year, that you guys were only doing last year's shows as a one-off thing. It's nice to see that you're keeping things going. I can understand you only doing a few shows, since you have Om, and Matt has HIgh On Fire going one, and those are your main gigs. Thanks for the info!
Carry on with showing the world that Rics can also do the heavy stuff (you're lucky!, it's easier for you to prove it on bass than for me on guitar [it's tough dispelling the jangle stereotype Ric guitars have, even though Hi-Gains are as hot as more than few humbuckers!])!
