Hey I saw on another site that Ric has gone to 2 piece necks . What are your thoughts ?

Nice bass!

I have a new 4003(April 2009) with the two-piece laminate neck and like it. It's thinner that the ones produced right before it (Jan 2009), which are beefier, but quite nice all the same.

I've owned both, and prefer the Laredo.

Lighter, a little brighter, not a big fan of gold trim.

actually I love'em , but there was already 2 or 3 threads going and we'll I do actually have a cii so I went with it , however they are close enough related so please feel free to post those too

Scott, I love your Blueburst. I'm thinking of getting a 2nd Cii, and since it looks like Ric won't be doing any new "color of the year" colors anytime soon, I'm really leaning towards a trans. green Cii.

as a matter of fact I was Richard your bass is such a stunner please post some more pics for us all , it's breathtaking . I have seen some really fine green cii's I almost went for one before the BBR , love'em . Thanks man !

Thank you Sir ! Sadly I don't facebook but I do love a good 4004
