I'm glad I visited Abbey Rd in 1980, long before all that nonsense was going on. In fact, I hung out there over 1 hour there midday in summer and never saw any apparent Beatles fans.

When I was there in 2007, I was surprised at the # of people who didn't even look behind them at the studio, probably unaware of why that particular crosswalk had been chosen for the album cover.
