I'm trying to learn how to use iMovie, mainly for the ability to combine good quality audio with video. So many YouTube videos - mine included - will show someone playing a beautiful guitar through a beautiful amplifier, but because it's only picked up by a poor digital camera microphone, the viewer/listener is really not getting the full experience.
For my first such foray into iMovie, I took a stab at Nels Cline's solo from "Either Way", the first track off Wilco's "SKy Blue Sky". That's my super sweet 1965 Jaguar. Enjoy!

Doing that short clip was more of a pain in the *** then it needed to be! My good friend (who does this sort of thing for a living) says I need to get Final Cut. I'm pretty fluent in Illustrator and Photoshop and he says it has more in common with those. I've used iWeb and now iMovie and I can't say I'm that big a fan of either. But they were free.
