Another tailpiece question

Buddy of mine was over one day as I was switching black trim/hardware on a red 330 to white/chrome.
He picks up the R tailpiece and says......wonder what this would look like powder coated white, we do
that at my shop. I'll usually try anything at least once so off it went to get powder coated. What do y'all
think????

I hate to say this but, it makes the guitar look like a football jumper.....

It's wacky, but I like it. Needs white toasters! :)

I'd be interested to see how it looks on a white/white guitar or on a Jetglo 330.

Is that your black or chrome R tailpiece. I agree with the others it doesn't look normal ..Plus it would seem it will wear off there.
No offense. It almost looks plastic in the picture. Could be because we are used to Chrome though.

If you powder coat all of the hardware white, it almost makes up for a lack of binding! I like it! :D

Merry Christmas!

Nuthin' personal, but it looks incomplete, Craig. I think of all possible treatments, white hardware on a colored body is the least appealing.

Mono-color or color-code the whole instrument? White, sure. But don't stop there.

Metallics/pearls could really sing; they can be flashy enough. Imagine if it was in MID, with all matching hardware, or Ruby...might have something there. Oh, heck, even a pastel green or Blue Boy could work, too. But white hardware on a contrasting body color just doesn't cut it IMO.

Well, I'm all for out-of-the box thinking! I like it, especially on red.
